The province of Santiago de Cuba, in the eastern part of the island, has friendly spaces where you combine the attractions of nature and the tourism with an environment in perfect conservation.
In this scenario highlights the Baconao Park, with a perfect union of the sea with the mountain, accompanied by a wide variety of attractions such as the so-called Valley of the Prehistory, where visitors can enjoy replics of prehistorical species elaborated in stone at natural scale. More than two hundred of large sculptures represent natural scale dinosaurs, mammoths and other animals that populated the earth millions of years ago.
The Baconao traditions date back to the time of the discovery, precisely where the name of the site relates to a small aboriginal belonging to one of the pre-Columbian tribes that settled in the area. Dolphins and Seals complete the delights of children and adults with their antics and skills, in a kind of pause at the time necessary and refreshing, a tunnel of 30 meters under the sea where visitors observe the species in their own habitat.
The Baconao facilities include singularities as the Museum of Land Transport, where are located more than two thousand vehicles in miniature next to an exhibition of old cars to actual size.
